The Huawei P9 flagship – which has been the subject of only a few rumors thus far – is expected to be launched in the month of March next year, according to a latest rumor out of the company’s home country of China.

It’s worth mentioning that the handset’s predecessor – the Huawei P8 (shown above) – was launched in April this year, and the company has just released a flagship smartphone (the Mate 8), so the rumored March 2016 launch time frame for the P9 does make sense.

As for the specs, from what is known until now, the Huawei P9 will be powered by a Kirin 950 SoC and sport a 5.2-inch display. The smartphone will have 4GB of RAM, and feature a fingerprint sensor as well as a dual camera set-up on its back.
