Chrysler 200S & 300S Alloy Editions announced

Chrysler will be using the Chicago Auto Show to introduce the new 200S and 300S Alloy Editions.

Starting with the 200S Alloy Edition, the model has a revised grille with Dark Bronze painted accents.  The car also features gloss black accents, a sport-tuned suspension, a dual exhaust system, and 19-inch aluminum wheels with a Dark Bronze finish.

Interior changes are limited but drivers will find Piano Black trim and Titanium accents.  Buyers will also be able to select from either black cloth and leather seats or black leather seats with unique Caramel accent stitching.

The 300S Alloy Edition is largely identical as it has been equipped with a Dark Bronze grille with gloss black textured accents.  Other highlights include a titanium-plated dual exhaust system and 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels with a Dark Bronze finish.

The interior comes nicely equipped with Black Nappa leather seats with Caramel accent stitching.  There’s also Piano Black trim, Titanium accents, and a new instrument panel clock that « exudes watch-like precision and craftsmanship. »

Under the hood, two different engines will be available.  The entry-level 3.6-liter V6 produces 300 hp while the optional 5.7-liter V8 develops 363 hp.  Rear-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is optional.

The Chrysler 200S and 300S Alloy Editions will go on sale this spring and pricing starts at $26,685 and $35,965, respectively (excluding a $995 destination charge).
