Microsoft has pushed out a new update to the Android app of its Bing search engine. According to the change-log, the update includes a handful of changes, including the ability to search by image.

With the update, now you can perform searches based on a picture taken from within the app – in results, Bing will display similar images available online. The feature is already there in Bing’s iOS app.

In addition, the update also brings along a feature called ‘Touch query,’ which the company says lets you get « new suggestions for image and video search by tapping the separate words. » Aside from these, the updated app provides you image insights (more information on the image you look) and features a barcode scanner as well.
