The official Disqus BETA app has finally gone public for devices running Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile. Development of the new Disqus app was first revealed earlier this year when its developer Ryan Valentin announced he was working on a newer, more modern experience for users. The app had been in closed beta since then and now it appears that any interested public user can also download it and provide feedback.
Here’s the official app description: The Disqus BETA for Windows Phone is here. Please send any issues or suggestions over to [email protected] Here’s what’s new!
- Access to the thousands of new Disqus channels
- Create discussions on channels in the app
- Upload images for your comments and discussions
- New notifications
- New feed filters
- Design enhancements
It’s important to emphasise that this app, as its name suggests, is in beta so is likely to have a variety of features missing and bugs that need to be squashed. Have you decided to give it a go? Let us know about your experience in the comments below.
