The Samsung Galaxy Note7 will be relaunched in India early next month – October 7 to be precise, according to a recent report out of the country. Interestingly, the new iPhones will also go on sale in India on the same day.

The latest Galaxy Note, if you recall, was made official in India back in August, and was supposed to go on sale in the country on September 2, the day the South Korean company issued a global recall for the phablet over battery fire hazard.

The Galaxy Note7 stock that will go on sale in India will be newly-manufactured, the report notes. This means that there won’t be any refurbished versions of the handsets that were earlier manufactured.

The report also says that the tech giant is « readying for a high-voltage relaunch, » with « an all-round media campaign covering television, print and digital media. »
